Statement on 9/11: "Considerations: (1) WTC 7 undergoes free-fall acceleration (NIST, final report, 11/08); (2) in free-fall, gravitational potential energy is fully converted into vertical kinetic energy by the conservation of energy (i.e., no remaining energy for transverse modes); (3) NIST and many other sources show substantial transverse energetics (e.g., dramatic explosive ejections or squibs, including one sequence of squibs propagating upward); and (4) Chemical physics tests of dust samples confirm presence of explosive materials. These considerations and others provide conclusive evidence for controlled demolition of WTC 7, consistent with the observation that no high-rise, steel-frame building has ever been demolished by fire."
